Although a hire car is desirable for a stay at the most of these resorts it is not essential as there is a frequent bus service to and from Marbella / Estepona stopping at all points in between. The bus stop is at the entrance to both Villacana and Park Beach. In addition the village of Cancelada is only a ten minute walk away and has a selection of shops and a small weekly market. Cancelada and the surrounding area has many restaurants of all types from International, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese all within walking distance. Plus of course Villacana has four restaurants & bars within the development.

Estepona say that they have good beaches and for the most part they are. The Town beach which is called Rada Beach is not as good as the beach shown above, they are however reasonable beaches. The Rada is a wide sandy beach which is cleaned every day. It is the most popular of the Estepona beaches and has all the facilities that you would expect, showers, lifeguards and Chiringuitos along the boundary of the town promenade. It is a Blue Flag beach.
